I’m sitting here watching one of the
greatest rivalries in the game (Boston vs New
York), and I have come to realize that my tastes in baseball
have gradually changed.  And I’m not just talking about
over the long run.  Just within the past two years,
things have changed. Just this offseason, I would have told
you that my most hated team was the Boston Red Sox, followed
closely by the Yankees then the Dodgers.  But last night
I was at work and sneaking glances at the game on ESPN and I
have a shocking moment.  The BoSox are no longer the
team that I hate so much.  I look up and down the line
up and I see so many players that I love to watch and that
play the game the right way.  From Dustin Pedroia to
David Ortiz to Kevin Youkalis to Jason Varitek, every single
one of thes guys just play hard.  There is nothing in
there game that you can really say that they have major
weakness in.  I still don’t like the franchise, and the
only time that you will see me in a Boston hat is when I go
to Fenway in a couple of years with my twin sister.
 Now, this will make my friends Scott and Evan happy,
but the Sox are no longer my most hated team.  And not
even my second most hated.  They have moved down to
third.  So as I enjoy this game, all I can say is Go
Sox!  (Oh yeah Rox won 10-4 today
too!)
